I'd like to talk about resurrection: experiences of it, theories surrounding it, whether pertaining to this world or otherwise.

wow, ok grouchy. if i was gonna lie about coming back to life the punchline wouldn't be "by the narrative", come on. it'd be like "i came back to life but i was still on the titanic where i died, holding a 9,000 dollar diamond someone else threw into the sea, drowning immediately"

tho i guess that would have to require a second resurrection

In that case, Reanimation is possible; that is, the imparting of Life into dead Tissue, though this renders the Subject changed in some form.

Now, is this theoretical? Or have you come into the sudden & unwanted possession of a Corpse?

in my experience resurrection has more to do with the ability to manipulate points in time than anything supernatural.

are you reflecting on a particular occurrence or is this just an interest of yours?

You mean time travel. Is it resurrection if you're simply preventing their death?

i only ask because i wondered if the ability to pull people from any point in time and gather them in one place would result in some sort of conditional immortality. and an endless cycle of resurrection as a result of that.

You mean rising from the dead and all of that? My world ended up accidentally creating plague zombies, but I'm not sure if I'd call that 'resurrection'. They weren't exactly themselves anymore, they ranted in Old English and ate people. So I'd hope they weren't themselves anymore.

I've had dozens of uncomfortably vivid and realistic dreams of dying and coming back, but they were just stress dreams and drug induced hallucinations. Most of them, anyhow. I think. Memory's all a bit fuzzy and muddled up, I'm afraid.
