My father was an archangel. They're ancient giant creatures made out of pure light. Technically I am too on the inside, but I'm externally in a human-appearing vessel.

I haven't figured out how yet. Since I made this vessel myself rather than possessing one like other angels, it's a little more complicated. I sort of fused myself into it.
